Aim & Approach

My aim is to unlock each individual’s learning potential through specialist dyslexia assessment and multisensory intervention. By identifying strengths alongside areas for development, I provide personalised strategies that support success in education, the workplace and everyday life.

Based in the North West, I work with individuals and families across West Lancashire, Sefton, Liverpool and the surrounding areas, offering tailored support that meets each person’s unique learning needs.

I believe that differences in learning and information processing are not weaknesses but valuable strengths. Through personalised assessment and intervention, I help individuals develop the skills, confidence and self-awareness needed to understand how they learn best and to achieve their full potential.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to fostering self-esteem, resilience and independence. By building confidence in their abilities and providing practical strategies to overcome challenges, I empower individuals to thrive both academically and beyond.

My Approach

I am a fully qualified dyslexia assessor and specialist teacher, holding both APC and AMBDA qualifications. Alongside this, I am an experienced primary school teacher with a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching to pupils with a wide range of learning differences and special educational needs.

I aim to empower individuals to reach their full potential. I believe that with the right support, encouragement, and tailored strategies, every learner can thrive both academically and emotionally. I am particularly dedicated to helping children build confidence and self-esteem, enabling them to recognise and celebrate their unique strengths and capabilities. I adapt my teaching to meet individual needs, using evidence-based approaches and a deep understanding of how children learn to ensure all pupils can access learning effectively.

My goal is always to ensure that learners not only achieve success in the classroom but also develop the confidence and resilience needed for lifelong learning.
